Teens in the USA also heard about what God was doing through teens in Uganda and were inspired to get involved. PEER Teens in Boston decided to find ways to befriend refugee families who had come to the Boston area. They invited these new friends to share their stories, visited their homes, learned from them lessons of faith and perseverance and looked for ways to be a blessing. From time to time they taught Sunday School at a refugee church. Gradually PEER Teens has spread from Boston to other parts of the USA. They learned from teens in Uganda and Burundi about ministry to prisoners and are now finding ways to share Jesus’ love with youth in the US who are incarcerated.

One of the initiatives of PEER Teens Boston is to share God's love with and learn from our brothers and sisters who have come to Boston as refugees. They especially enjoy hanging out with and teaching the kids at the Sudanese church in the Boston area. They have learned a lot from refugees that they have become friends with about faith and perseverance.
